Albumin 101: Implications and Insights Related to CKD

This course will explore the physiological functions of albumin, the strengths and limitations of the use of serum albumin as a nutritional and prognostic indicator and strategies to improve inflammation and serum albumin.  Clinical research studies related to the effect of different nutrition interventions on nutrition parameters in dialysis patients will also be reviewed.
